The Federal Government announced the 2026/2027 Harvest Plan, allocating R$ 525.1 billion for financing agribusiness. This amount represents an increase compared to the previous cycle and reinforces the role of rural credit as a strategic instrument for financing, marketing, and investments in agribusiness.
Of the total, R$ 384.9 billion will be allocated to the costs and marketing of production, while R$ 140.2 billion will finance investments aimed at modernizing properties, storage, irrigation, technological innovation, and the acquisition of machinery and equipment. The new Plan also brought adjustments to financing conditions, with reduced rates in some lines and incentives for producers who maintain environmental compliance and adopt sustainable practices.
