The National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) published, this Wednesday (13), the first edition of the Map of Priority Themes (MTP). This document aims to outline the actions and studies that the ANPD will define as a priority for the 2024-2025 biennium. Among the themes are: rights of data subjects; processing of personal data of children and adolescents in the digital environment; artificial intelligence for facial recognition and processing of personal data; and data scraping and data aggregators. The ANPD's objective is not to act in a repressive manner on these themes, but rather to educate, strengthening governance and bringing even more transparency to the positions and actions adopted by the Authority.
